about

Domenico Iannantuono

is an italian documentary photographer

based in Puglia.

His photographic practice focuses on people, communities and territories, with a particular interest in the social and cultural transformations taking place in Southern Italy.

His projects explore themes such as labour, migration, identity, memory, religious rituals and marginality.

Rather than focusing on isolated images, Iannantuono develops long-term photographic projects in which observation, proximity and time become essential elements of the work.

His approach moves between documentary photography and reportage, combining attention to social reality with a personal and contemplative visual language.

His photographs have received recognition in international photography awards and have been featured by photography platforms and magazines.
